Punks who mugged 90-year-old man

A 90-year-old Harlem man was mugged by two punks who got him in a chokehold and flung him to the floor as he returned home from grocery shopping, police said Tuesday.

The suspects, young enough to be the victim's great grandsons, were captured on video surveillance cameras as they entered the elevator in the W. 139th St. building where the elderly man lives.

The victim was jumped from behind in a sixth-floor hallway at 2 p.m. Dec. 4, police said. The robbers then fled with money.

The suspects are black men in their 20s, each about 5-foot-9. One wore a dark-colored coat and beige pants, the other a beige hoodie and dark pants.

Police have released their photos and are asking anyone who can identify them to call Crimestoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
