Apple gets patent for MagSafe Connector
Apple Inc. obtained a patent for MagSafe Connector.
US Patent and Trademark Office awarded Apple with MagSafe Connector patent, which includes both MagSafe Connector and MagSafe Power Adapter.
Apple s 60 Watt MagSafe Power Adapter has a magnetic DC connector which makes sure that the power cable will disconnect if it undue damage is occurred and assists to stop fraying or weakening of the cables over time. Magnetic DC also assists direct the plug into the system for a rapid and secure connection.
